Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Andy Rymsha
Defenceman Andy Rymsha played six games for the Quebec Nordiques in 1991-92. He was a rugged player in his own end who could jump into the rush and use his shot effectively from the point.

Born in St. Catharines, Ontario Rymsha played junior B with the local Falcons before spending four years at Western Michigan University. He was chosen 82nd overall by the St. Louis Blues in 1987, returned to school and joined the Nordiques in a trade part way through the 1990-91 season.

Rymsha played six games for Quebec as an injury replacement then returned to the minors. He later played briefly with the Canadian national team as well as domestically in Italy, Austria, Germany and Britain. His best year was 1995-96 when he notched 33 goals for the IHL's San Francisco Spiders.
