Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Michel Archambault
Archambault was a fairly high draft choice in 1970 for Chicago (28th overall) on the strength of his most recent season which saw him score 69 goals and 151 points, and lead his Quebec Remparts to the Memorial Cup.

He continued to show scoring skills in the Central league with Chicago's farm team in Dallas, but then he decided to bolt to the WHA and a more lucrative contract. After one middling year, he was sent to the Quebec Nordiques farm club and returned to play in the minors for Dallas. In 1976-77, more than six years after he was drafted, Archambault was called up to Chicago. Just three games later, he was back in Dallas.

For 1977-78, Archambault played in Austria and then retired.
