Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- John Arundel
Arundel was recruited by Toronto and joined St. Mike's in time to win the Memorial Cup in 1945. He played another year of junior in Ontario before continuing his successful career out West, going to another Mem Cup with Winnipeg in 1948 and the Allan Cup with Sydney in 49.

The only times Arundel's name appeared on an NHL game sheet were December 31, 1949, January 1 and January 4, 1950. The Leafs lost the first two and tied the third, and Arundel was returned whence he came, the team's AHL affiliate in Piitsburgh and then down from there to the Hornets farm team in Los Angeles.

Arundel returned to Toronto to play with St. Mike's and later played down East before retiring in 1955.
