Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Joel Baillargeon
Baillargeon had the scoring touch, and then he didn't. In junior, he scored 48 goals in 60 games with Chicoutimi in 1983-84 and seemed to be developing into a first-rate left winger. He had been drafted 113th overall by Winnipeg in 1983, but after a year in the AHL he went goalless in his first stint with the Jets, eight games in 1986-87.

That time with the Jets proved to be Baillargeon's longest time in the NHL. Over the next two seasons he had shorter recalls, never scoring a goal and proving almost as dry in the minors, most notably in the AHL. He was traded to Quebec for the always-humbling future considerations but retired in 1990 without ever making a full-time mark on the Nordiques either.
