Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Francis Cain
The cousin of the more famous Herb Cain, Dutch played just two seasons in the NHL, 1924-26, though he continued for a few years after.

Cain played his minor hockey in and around Toronto and was signed by the Montreal Maroons for the 1924-25 season. He scored four goals for the Maroons that year, not bad for a first-year defenceman.

Midway through 1925-26 he was claimed by Toronto, but after that he was shipped from team to team in minor pro leagues, from the Can-Pro in southern Ontario to Buffalo, St. Louis, and Tulsa in the IHL and AHA. Cain retired in 1933.
