Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Peter Driscoll
Left-winger Pete Driscoll played parts of two seasons with the Edmonton Oilers during their first two NHL seasons. He played a gritty style but was also capable of driving to the net on offense.

Born in Powassan, Ontario, Driscoll played junior with the local Canadians of the OHA. After deciding to begin his pro career in the WHA, he split the 1974-75 season between the Vancouver Blazers and the Tulsa Oilers of the CHL. He then spent four more years in the league with the Calgary Cowboys, Quebec Nordiques, Indianapolis Racers and the Oilers during the final WHA season in 1978-79.

Driscoll played 39 games for Edmonton after they were one of the four WHA clubs to merge with the NHL in 1979. He was a part timer player for two years before retiring in 1982 after scoring 25 goals for the CHL's Wichita Wind.
