Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Polly Drouin
Polly Drouin was a member of the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League from 1935 to 1941. In his first year with the Habs, Drouin played in 30 games, scoring once and assisting on eight others.

The following season saw Drouin spend the bulk of the year with the New Haven Eagles of the IAHL. In 27 games, he hit the scoresheet 23 times, scoring ten times and assisting on 13 others. He did dress for four games with the Canadiens, but was held pointless.

In 1937-38, Drouin was back on the Canadiens roster full-time, appearing in 31 games, scoring seven goals and 13 assists. He followed that up the following year with an 18-point season.

Drouin appeared in 42 games for the Habs in 1939-40, scoring four goals and eleven assists. Although 1940-41 was his final year in the NHL, he continued to play for a few more years, retiring from the Volants after the 1945-46 season.

In his five NHL seasons, there were four different Stanley Cup winning teams, but the Canadiens were not one of them and Drouin retired without ever having won a championship.
