Chris Felix was a talented offensive defenceman ]who played parts of four seasons with the Washington Capitals. He was a dynamic scorer in junior and went on to enjoy success internationally for Canada and domestically in Europe.

Born in Bramalea, Ontario, Felix scored 267 points in three years with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL. In 1985 he led all players with 25 assists as the Soo reached the Memorial Cup tournament. Following his junior career, Felix opted to join the Canadian national program.. He played three years working on his game in clinics and exhibition tournaments before representing his country at the 1988 Calgary Olympics.

The Washington Capitals signed Felix after the Olympics and he was assigned to the Fort Wayne Komets of the IHL. He scored 22 points in 19 games and joined the Caps for one post-season contest. He played 21 games in 1988-89 but Washington had....to supply offense from the blueline. Felix spent two more years in the Washington organization and accompanied the team to Moscow for the Friendship Tour in 1989-90.

In 1991-92 Felix signed with the IEV Innsbruck club of Austria where he was a top scorer for three seasons. This was followed by stints with Klagenfurter of Germany, Servette of Switzerland, and Ilves Tampere of Finland. In 1997-98 Felix returned to Germany to play for ESV Kaufbeuren then Adler Mannheim.
