Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Mario Giallonardo
Defenceman Mario Giallonardo played a few games for the Colorado Rockies in the early 80s. He was a decent passer whose strength was playing an abrasive style in his own zone.

The Toronto native spent a year at Union College in the ECAC then turned pro in 1977-78 with the IHL's Toledo Goaldiggers. In December, 1978 he was signed as a free agent by the Colorado Rockies while he was in the midst of a solid year with the Philadelphia Firebirds of the AHL. Over the next three seasons he was a regular on the CHL's Fort Worth Texans and received the occasional recall to the NHL before retiring in 1982.
