Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Ted Graham
Defenceman Ted Graham played over 300 NHL games for six different franchises in the b20s and 30s. He was a reliable player in his own end and passed the puck to his forwards efficiently.

Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Graham played junior with the hometown Greys and won the Memorial Cup in 1924. This was followed by two years of senior hockey with the Stratford Indians and the London Ravens. He turned pro in 1926-27 with the AHA's Chicago Cardinals then played 19 games for the NHL's Black Hawks the next season.

In 1928-29, Graham led the AHA in assists while toiling with the Tulsa Oilers. During the second half of the 1929-30 season he rejoined the Hawks and was a regular for over three years. Beginning in 1933-34 he began a whirlwind tour of the league that saw him suit up for the Montreal Maroons, Detroit Red Wings, St,. Louis Eagles, Boston Bruins, and New York Americans. He retired in 1938 after anchoring the defense corps of the AHL's New Haven Eagles.
