Defenceman Bruce Holloway played two games with the Vancouver Canucks in 1984-85. He was an excellent playmaker in junior and the minors who could also play physically in his own zone.

Born in Revelstoke, BC, Holloway played with the local Bruins of the BCJHL. He then moved on to the WHL where he toiled for four different teams and was drafted 136th overall by Vancouver in 1981. Over his amateur career he accumulated 127 assists and was considered a tough checker on defence.

Holloway enjoyed a solid pro debut with the AHL's Fredericton Express in 1983-84. Apart from his two game trial in the NHL, Holloway was a regular in the AHL and IHL before retiring in 1986.
