Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Ray Kinsella
Left-winger Ray Kinsella played 14 games with the Ottawa Senators in 1930-31. Apart from his brief NHL tenure he was a solid, unspectacular player in the minors and senior leagues.

Born in Ottawa, Kinsella played senior hockey with the city's Post Office, CPR, Shamrocks, and Rideaus clubs. While he was in the middle of senior career, he was called up to NHL. Afterward Kinsella toiled in the CanAm league from 1931 to 1934. He suited up for the Philadelphia Arrows, Quebec Castors, and New Haven Eagles before joining the London Tecumsehs of the IAHL at the start of the 1934-35 season. A few games into the schedule Kinsella joined the AHA's Tulsa Oilers where he registered 27 points in 43 games.

An injury forced Kinsella to miss the 1935-36 season. He returned to enjoy a fine season with the Ottawa Senators of the Quebec Senior League in 1936-37 then played 1937-38 with the Ottawa Montagnards before retiring.
