Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Don MacIver
Defenseman Don MacIver played six games for the Winnipeg Jets in 1979-80. He was a hard-nosed battler in his own zone who could dish out an occasional open ice his in the neutral zone. Most of his success came in Canadian University and the minor leagues.

The Montreal native was signed as a free agent by Winnipeg in 1979 after three solid years with St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Apart from his six game stint in the NHL, he spent the rest of the 1979-80 schedule and three additional years with the CHL's Tulsa Oilers before retiring in 1983.
