Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Larry Molyneaux
After playing for four different teams during his four years in the Can-Am hockey league, Larry Molyneaux received a two game try-out with the New York Rangers in 1937-38. He joined a team that boasted Clint Smith, Alex Shibicky, Ott Heller, and Lynn Patrick at forward with Muzz Patrick also getting a try-out that season on defense.

The next year, 1938-39, both Muzz and Molyneaux joined the Rangers full-time. Larry Molyneaux played in 43 games, earning a single assist. After one season, he was returned to the AHL, where he was named to the Second All-Star Team.
