Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Howard Scruton
Defenceman Howard Scruton played four games for the LA Kings in 1982-83. He was a decent stay-at-home blueliner who spent most of his pro career in the minors.

The Toronto native played junior for the Niagara Falls Flyers and Kingston Canadians of the OHL before signing as a free agent with the Kings. He spent the better part of four years solidifiying the New Haven Nighthawks' blueline before retiring in 1985. Oddly enough for a defensive rearguard, he recorded four assists in as many games for LA in his brief NHL career.
