Defenceman Ken Stewart played six games for the Chicago Black Hawks in 1941-42. He was a fine offensive player who was better known in the minors and senior hockey circles.

Born in Port Arthur, Ontario Stewart played with the Lethbridge Maple Leafs in the Kootenay and Calgary senior leagues before his brief stay in the NHL. During the latter part of World War II he played for the Calgary Army before joining the Los Angeles Ramblers of the California senior loop in 1946-47. Stewart was a reliable scorer wherever he played and retired in 1951 after two years in the Kootenay League.
