Defenseman Mark Suzor played briefly with the Philadelphia Flyers and Colorado Rockies in the late 70s. He was an offensive minded player who put up impressive numbers in junior and the minor leagues.
Born in Windsor, Ontario Suzor was chosen 17th overall by the Flyers after accumulated 119 points in three seasons with the OHA's Kingston Canadians. He played four games for the Flyers in 1976-77 and was a key figure for the AHL's Springfield Indians with 24 goals.
In August 1977, Suzor was sent to the Colorado Rockies for Barry Dean. He registered 19 points in 60 games then remained in the minors until retiring in 1981. His best year was 1979-80 when he recorded 20 goals for the IHL's Grand Rapids Owls.
