Forward Kenneth Thompson played one game with the Montreal Wanderers in 1917-18. He was a versatile player who could be effective at left-wing and centre in a short career that took place in the pros and at the senior level.

Born in Oakengates, England, Thompson played senior with Montreal All-Montreal and Laval University in Quebec City. Thompson scored eight goals in ten games for Laval in 1915-16 then played 15 games in the NHA for the Wanderers. Thompson remaoned with the club when it was a founding member of the NHL in 1917-18. He only dressed for one game then retired after the team disbanded in the aftermath of the fire that destroyed the Montreal Arena.
