Defenceman Roger Wilson played seven games for the Chicago Black Hawks in 1974-75. He was a feisty defender in his own zone and was more than capable of providing offense from the blueline. Most of his success came in the minors, especially the EHL and CHL.

The native of Sudbury, Ontario played junior in the NOHA with the hometown Wolves before embarking on a long career in the minors. In addition to his brief exposure to the NHL he enjoyed his best year with the Greensboro Generals of the EHL in 1970-71 when he scored 21 goals and was named to the league's first all-star team. . He retired in 1975 after playing most of the schedule with the Dallas Black Hawks of the Central League.
