Netminder Matt Delguidice played briefly with the Boston Bruins in the early 90s. After a dine amateur career, he enjoyed most of his pro success in four different minor pro leagues.

The native of West Haven, Connecticut was selected 77th overall by the Bruins out of St. Anselm College where he was a conference all-star. He then attended the University of Maine and led the Hockey East conference with a 3.14 goals against average in 1988-89.

The young netminder won 23 games for the AHL's Maine Mariners in 1990-91 and player ten minutes of a contest for Boston. The next year he began the season as Andy Moog's back up when Rejean Lemelin was injured. Delguidice was returned to the AHL two months into the season and remained in the minors until his retirement in 1999. His best year was 1993-94 when he won 18 games for the Raleigh IceCaps and led the East Coast league with a 2.94 goals against mark.
