Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Danny Bois
Danny Bois was born June 1, 1983 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Colorado's second round, 97th overall selection in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Bois is a graduate of the OHL's London Knights.

A gritty forward, Bois captained the London Knights through four seasons and left the club as the longest-serving leader. Years after being drafted by the Avalanche, he was signed as a free agent by the Ottawa Senators in April of 2004.

As a member of the Senators, Bois would spend three seasons with the club's AHL affiliate in Binghampton prior to making his NHL debut in 2006-07.

After appearing in just one game for Ottawa in his five years with the organization, Bois would sign as an unrestricted free agent with the Chicago Blackhawks in the summer of 2009.
