Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Bryan Young
Bryan Young was born August 6, 1986 in Ennismore, Ontario. Edmonton's 6th choice, 146th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Young is a graduate of the OHL's Peterborough Petes.

A great open ice hitter, Young's stint in Peterborough was capped by a 2006 OHL Championship. After his junior career he made his professional hockey debut with the Milwaukee Admirals before being reassigned to the ECHL. He rejoined the AHL later that year and eventually saw his first NHL game appearing in an emergency recall with the Edmonton Oilers.
