Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Robbie Earl
Robbie Earl was born June 2, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois. The sixth round, 187th overall selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Earl honed his skills in the U.S. National Team Development Program prior to attending the University of Wisconsin.

A gifted and offensive forward, Earl capped off his three-year stint at the University of Wisconsin by being registering a career-high 50 points and being named the NCAA Championship Most Outstanding Player. At the end of that season, Earl made his professional hockey debut suiting up for the Leafs AHL affiliate for a single regular season game and three playoff contests.

Over the next two seasons, Earl would suit up for the Toronto Marlies and make his NHL debut with the Toronto Maple Leafs in a February 2, 2008 game against the Ottawa Senators.
