Kenndal McArdle was born on January 4, 1987 in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Burnaby, British Columbia. McArdle played his junior hockey in the Western Hockey League for the Moose Jaw Warriors. Certainly his most memorable season was 2007, when he was part of the gold medal winning Canadian squad at the World Junior Championship and the Memorial Cup winning, Vancouver Giants.

A first round draft pick of the Florida Panthers at the 2005 draft, McArdle began his professional career in 2007-08, splitting time between the ECHL and AHL. In 2008-09, he made his NHL debut, joining the Panthers for three games.

Loaned to Rockford (AHL) by Greenville (ECHL), January 16, 2013. Signed as a free agent by Vasteras (Sweden-2), May 13, 2013. Officially announced his retirement, July 31, 2014.
