Jeff Frazee was born on May 13, 1987 in Edina, Minnesota. A standout goaltender in the U.S. National Team Development Program, he attended the University of Minnesota where he continued to shine between the pipes.
Frazee was selected in the second round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He joined the Devils AHL affiliate in Lowell for a single game following the completion of the 2007-08 collegiate season. Frazee made 22 saves in his debut in a losing cause against the Worcester Sharks.
In his first full professional season, Frazee would excel for the Lowell Devils. He would record 28 wins and solid 2.62 goals against average. His strong play was rewarded midseason as the goaltender was named to the 2009 AHL All-Star Team.
In 2012-13, injuries to the Devils top goaltenders opened the door for Frazee to get his first taste of NHL action. He made his NHL debut on March 9, 2013 in 6-3 loss at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes.
In the summer of 2013 Frazee inked a deal with Valpellice of the Italian Elite League.
