Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Matt Keetley
Matt Keetley was born April 27, 1986 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The fifth round, 158th overall selection of the Calgary Flames in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Keetley honed his skills between the pipes with his hometown Medicine Hat Tigers.

An agile netminder, Keetley backstopped the Tigers to a 42-11-0 record and a WHL Championship in his final year with the club. He made his professional hockey debut the following season with the Flames' AHL affiliate in Quad City and also went on to make his NHL debut that same season with the club that had originally drafted him in 2005.
