Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Michael Wall
Michael Wall was born July 25, 1985 in Telkwa, British Columbia. A graduate of the WHL's Price George Cougars and Everett Silvertips, Wall finished his junior career with Everett in 2005 after posting a personal best 1.92 GAA.

A patient netminder, Wall was signed by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks on September 29, 2005 after making a strong tryout at the Ducks rookie camp. He played his first year of professional hockey the subsequent season with the Ducks affiliates in the ECHL and AHL. The following season Wall started out with the Anaheim Ducks' AHL affiliate in Portland and was recalled by the Ducks on two occasions. However with a crease loaded full of talent in Anaheim, the Ducks' opted to trade the netminder to Colorado in exchange for Brad May on February 27, 2007.

As a member of the Avalanche, Wall reported to the club's CHL affiliate, the Arizona Sundogs, where he appeared in nine regular season games with the club.
