Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Jaime Sifers
Jamie Sifers was born on January 18, 1983 in Stratford, Connecticut. He played his collegiate hockey at the University of Vermont and joined the Toronto Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Marlies in 2006. Though he spent the majority of the next three seasons in the AHL, establishing himself as a solid defenceman, Sifers would receive his shot at the NHL during the 2008-09 season when he was summoned to the Maple Leafs.

Sifers would appear in 23 games on the Leafs blue line that year, failing to record a goal, but his play impressed and in July of 2009 he signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Wild.
