Sebastien Bisaillon was born December 8, 1986 in Mont-Laurier, Quebec. An undrafted defencemen, Bisaillion is a graduate of the QMJHL's Val-d'Or Foreurs. A creative defenceman, Bisaillon spent five seasons in Val-dOr.

During his time in the QMJHL, the undrafted defenceman opted to sign as a three-year contract as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers in September, 2006. He would spend the majority of his last year in junior with Val-d'Or, however was called up to the Edmonton Oilers once on an emergency basis.
