Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Bryan Rodney
Bryan Rodney was born on April 22, 1984 in London, Ontario. After a solid junior career in the Ontario Hockey League, which included stops in Ottawa, Kingston and London, Rodney embarked on a professional hockey career that would make any travel agent happy. His professional career has seen him suit up for teams in Charlotte, Hartford, Columbia, Elmira, Albany and finally, in 2008-09, for the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL.

In all, Rodney would stick with the Hurricanes for eight games in the 2008-09 season, recording his first two NHL points.

In the summer of 2011, Rodney reached a deal as an unrestricted free agent with the Anaheim Ducks. He would begin the 2011-12 campaign in the American Hockey League before being traded in the days leading up to the NHL trade deadline to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for Ryan O'Marra.
