Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Maxim Noreau
Maxim Noreau was born on May 24, 1987 in Montreal, Quebec. Following his major junior career in the QMJHL with the Victoriaville Tigres, Noreau signed as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Wild.

Noreau joined the Wild's AHL affiliate, the Houston Aeros, in 2007-08 and put up increasingly productive offensive seasons in his first three years as a pro. In 2009-10 his 52 points in 76 games earned him a selection to the AHL's Second All-Star Team and his first call up to the NHL. Noreau appeared in his first game for the Wild on April 8, 2010.

After spending the majority of the 2010-11 season with the Wild's AHL affiliate in Houston, Noreau was sent to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for David McIntyre.
