Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Marc-Andre Bourdon
Marc-André Bourdon was born on September 17, 1989 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. A smooth-skating defenceman, Bourdon starred for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the QMJHL and was selected in the third round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.

Bourdon would make his professional debut with the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League in 2009, appearing in 61 games for the club and recording 19 points.

Bourdon began the 201112 season with the Phantoms, but was called up to the Flyers on November 21 due to injuries to defencemen Chris Pronger and Braydon Coburn. He made his NHL debut that same day against the Carolina Hurricanes. Bourdon played well enough to stick with the Flyers and would go to appear in 45 games for the club, recording four goals and three assists.
