Nate Raduns was born on May 17, 1984 in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Following four collegiate seasons with the St. Cloud State Huskies, he signed with the Philadelphia Flyers, joining their AHL affiliate, the Phantoms.

Nate would get his first taste of NHL action in 2008-09, appearing in a single game for the Flyers.
