Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Craig Cunningham
Craig Cunningham was born on September 13, 1990 in Trail, British Columbia. The product of the WHLís Vancouver Giants and Portland Winterhawks was drafted in the fourth round, 97th overall, by the Boston Bruins during the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

During his time in the WHL, Cunningham would help the Vancouver Giants win a Memorial Cup in 2007, be named to the WHL West First All-Star Team in 2010, be a nominee for the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy as WHL Player of the year in 2010, and finish his Giantsí career as the teamís all-time games played leader.

When Cunninghamís major junior career was over, the Boston Bruins would assign him to the AHL to play for the Providence Bruins. He would play almost three full seasons in Providence before he would be promoted to the NHL and made his NHL debut on December 17, 2013 in a 2-0 victory over the Calgary Flames.

In the following season, Cunningham would split his season between Providence and Boston where he would play 32 games in the NHL. However, on March 2, 2015 Cunningham was placed on waivers by the Bruins where the Arizona Coyotes would claim him.
