Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Brenden Dillon
Brenden Dillon was born on November 13, 1990 in Surrey, British Columbia. A product of the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League, Dillon was undrafted in the NHL and signed as a free agent with the Dallas Stars on March 1, 2011.

Dillon would join the Stars' AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars at the tail end of the 2010-11 season, appearing in 10 games for the club. He would get his first taste of NHL action during the 2011-12 season, appearing in a single game for the Stars.

February 1, 2013, proved to be an important day for Dillon in his young NHL career as not only he tallied his first NHL goal, but also his first career Gordie Howe Hat Trick in the same game against the Phoenix Coyotes.

On November 21, 2014, the Dallas Stars traded Dillon to the San Jose Sharks for Jason Demers and a third round draft pick.
