Patrick Sieloff was born on May 15, 1994 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A product of the USHL and the OHL, he was selected in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames.

Sieloff made his professional debut Abbotsford Heat during the 201314 sason and would spend the majority of the next three seasons at the American Hockey League level. He made his NHL debut on April 9, 2016 and would score the game-winning goal in a Flames 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.

On June 27, 2016, Sieloff time in the Flames organisation would come to an end. He was traded to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Alex Chiasson.

On the international stage Sieloff helped the United States capture gold at both the 2012 World U18 Championship and the 2013 World Junior Championship.
