Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Mirco Mueller
Mirco Mueller was born on March 21, 1995 in Winterthur, Switzerland. A standout defender in his homeland, Mueller would play two seasons with the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League.

Selected in first round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks, Mueller made his professional debut at the American Hockey League level, for the Shark's affiliate in Worcester. He would appear in nine games towards the end of the 2013-14 season.

The 2014-15 season would be Mueller's first full professional campaign. He would suit up in three games for Worcester, but would spend the year primarily with the Sharks. In 39 games for the Sharks he recorded a goal and three assists. The 2015-16 season would be more of a struggle for Mueller. He would see action in just 11 NHL games, while taking the ice in 50 games at the AHL level.

On the international stage, Mueller represented Switzerland three times at the World Junior Championship.
