Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Anthony Duclair
Anthony Duclair was born on August 26, 1995 in Montreal, Quebec and raise in Pointe-Claire. A product of the QMJHL, Duclair starred for parts of four campaigns for the Quebec Remparts, registering 50 goals in 59 games during the 2013-14 season.

Duclair was selected in the third round, 80th overall, by the New York Rangers at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and he would make his debut for the club the following year. In 18 games for the Rangers he would record a goal and add six assists before being returned to Quebec to finish the season.

On March 1, 2015, while with the Remparts, Duclair was part of a package traded to the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for Keith Yandle.

Duclair would crack the Coyotes lineup out of training camp in 2015 and quickly show the scoring touch that made him a junior star. On October 15, 2015, he recorded his first career hat trick in a 4-0 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. He would appear in 81 games for the Coyotes during the 2015-16 season, scoring 20 goals and adding 24 assists.

Duclair's offensive numbers would fall during the 2016-17 season. He found the back of the net just five times and was limited to 10 assists. The following season, after just 33 games, he was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks along with Adam Clendening in exchange for Richard Panik and Laurent Dauphin.

On the international stage, Duclair represented Canada at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament as well as the 2015 World Junior Championship, earning a gold medal on both occasions.
