Antoine Bibeau was born on May 1, 1994 in Victoriaville, Quebec. A standout goaltender in the QMJHL, he was selected in the sixth round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Bibeau began his professional career in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies in 2014-15. He recorded 15 wins in his first year with the club and followed that up with a 30 win season the following year.

On December 11, 2016, Bibeau got his first taste of NHL action, making 28 saves in a losing effort against the Colorado Avalanche. Before being returned to the Marlies, Bibeau recorded his first NHL win. An overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

In the summer of 2017 Bibeau's time in the Toronto organization would come to an end. He signed as a free agent with the San Jose Sharks.
