Vojtech Mozik was born on December 26, 1992, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. A product of HC Plzeň of the Czech Extraliga, he was signed as a free agent by the New Jersey Devils on June 15, 2015.

Mozik would make his North American debut for the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League during the 2015-16 season. In 53 games for the club, the defenceman scored twice and added 15 assists. He would also get his first taste of NHL action during the 2015-16 season, making his NHL debut on March 20, 2016. He would go on to appear in seven games for New Jersey before returning to Albany for the AHL playoffs.

On the international stage Mozik represented the Czech Republic at the 2012 World Junior Championship.
