GET IN THE GAME! VOLUNTEER AT THE HOCKEY HALL OF FAME!
Many GTHL, OMHA and OWHA teams have participated in the NHLPA Be A Player Zone Volunteer Program. Due to overwhelming demand, the Hockey Hall of Fame is pleased to offer the program once again to Bantam or Midget level teams for the 2007-08 season.
Enthusiastic Bantam and Midget level teams are invited to share their skills with our guests in the NHLPA Be A Player Zone Volunteer Program. This is a fantastic opportunity for your team to show their true passion for the game while gaining invaluable experience and amazing benefits for both the individual volunteers and the team itself. Volunteers may even use the hours accumulated through this program towards their secondary school volunteer requirements.
The Hockey Hall of Fame Volunteer Program involves volunteering one day on the weekend for a one month period or four shifts over Christmas Break. Please note: Although it is preferred that your team volunteer over a one month period, the Hockey Hall of Fame understands the demands on your team's schedule and would be flexible in coordinating alternate arrangements. For instance, if your team is unable to volunteer every Saturday for an entire month we would be pleased to discuss other options.
Your team will volunteer their time assisting guests as Hockey Hall of Fame representatives in the NHLPA Be A Player Zone. This interactive area features the popular Lay's Shut Out and Shoot Out games. In return for completing the requirements of the program, the following benefits will be granted:
For each individual player participating in the program (maximum 10 packages of the following):
- 10 Hockey Hall of Fame general admission passes
- 1 1998 Inductee Collector's coin set
- 1 Hockey Hall of Fame hat & t-shirt
- 1 Hockey Hall of Fame Legends program
Approximate Value: $200
For the team's 2007-08 season fundraising programs:
- 100 Hockey Hall of Fame general admission passes
- 1 Toronto Maple Leaf jersey autographed by Ron Ellis
- 1 Selected Hockey Coffee-Table book
