Johnny Bower wore a mask in parts of his final NHL season.
There was no All-Star Game in the calendar year of 1966 when the game changed from the beginning of the season (in 1965) to mid-season (in January 1967).
Terry O'Malley played in the 1964 and 1968 Olympics for Canada, and then played again in 1980.
Jerry Toppazzini was the last skater to play goal in a game, in 1960.
