Yvan Cournoyer

Yvon Cournoyer tidbit - came close to being seriously injured when a fan hurled a whiskey bottle out of the upper regions of the Chicago Stadium on November 13, 1977. The bottle shattered against the plexiglass and several splinters lodged in Cournoyer's head. Yvon required a number of stitches and the throwing culprit was never apprehended.
