Rene Robert
was the right winger of the famed French Connection line that stared for the Buffalo Sabres during the 1970s. During that period, Robert played in two all-star games, earned a berth on the NHL second all-star team in 1975, topped the 30-goal mark four times, and set a career-high of 100 points in the 1974-75 campaign. Robert's jersey number 14 was later retired by the Sabres.
