Hockey Hall of Fame Education Program

Let the passion for Hockey ignite the passion for learning!

Welcome to the revamped 2012 Hockey Hall of Fame Education Program! The Hockey Hall of Fame Education Program was developed to allow young people to experience and learn about the great game of Hockey while having fun at the same time. It has been a tremendous hit for teachers and students alike.

Offered in three levels; Junior, Intermediate and Senior; the program covers a wide variety of subjects including History, Geography, Math, Business, Phys. Ed, and more! Each level is available to download for classroom use in PDF format by simply clicking on the links below. Materials may be photocopied for classroom use. All programs include a series of activities, created by teachers based on the Ontario curriculum and ministry guidelines, in a fun and readable format.

This program was designed to assist you in planning a trip with your class to the Hockey Hall of Fame. The program consists of three sections: Pre-Visit Activities, Hall Visit Activities, and Post-Visit Activities. These activities cover a broad range of curriculum subjects such as Math, Social Studies, Language, and the Arts.

The goal of the intermediate program is to provide an arena in which students can utilize critical thinking skills and experience hands-on interactive opportunities that will assure a successful and worthwhile trip. The program covers a variety of subject areas including Language, Math, History, Geography, and features the Great Moments Scavenger Hunt.
