Left-winger Glenn Tomalty played one game for the Winnipeg Jets in 1979-80. He was a clever goal scorer who attained most of his success in the minors and Europe.
Born in Lachute, Quebec, Tomalty spent a year at Montreal's Concordia University then fired 24 goals for the Cape Cod Freedoms of the NEHL in 1978-79. A few months later he signed with the Jets and was a 29-goal shooter for the IHL's Dayton Gems in 1979-80. After spending most of the next year in the "I", Tomalty signed with Brussel HC of the Dutch League. He retired in 1982 after recording 86 points in 21 games for the team.
