Stanley Cup 125th Anniversary Tribute
Opening March 9, 2018

Join us as we celebrate 125 years of hockey's greatest treasure - the Stanley Cup!

Marquee artifacts include:

  • Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup, the original bowl and Lord Stanley's gift to the game, first awarded in 1893 - exclusively on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame
  • Championship Ring Display - a remarkable collection of more than 20 rings spanning from the first-ever Stanley Cup (1893, Billy Barlow, Montreal AAA's) to the 2016-17 championship ring recently donated by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Visitor Tips:

  • Get hands-on access to the Stanley Cup. No visit is complete unless you've had your photo taken with hockey's Holy Grail!
  • Last chance to touch the band honouring Stanley Cup Championships from 1953-54 to 1963-64 that includes the engraved names of some of hockey's greatest legends -- Gordie Howe, Maurice Richard, Jacques Plante, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita. This band will be permanently retired from the Stanley Cup this Fall.
